These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of the website located at www.buruzu.com (the "Website") and the catering services offered by Buruzu Pvt Ltd ("Buruzu", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or utilizing the Website, or by requesting and receiving catering services from Buruzu, you signify your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by these Terms.
Services Provided
Buruzu offers exceptional catering services within the Republic of Maldives for various events. This includes, but is not limited to, the provision of delectable food preparations, refreshing beverages, necessary equipment, and professional staff to ensure the success of your event.
Order Process
To inquire about catering services, you may submit a request through our Website or contact us directly. We will furnish you with a detailed quote outlining the scope of services requested, estimated costs, and any applicable taxes. Upon your written acceptance of the quote and receipt of a deposit from you (as outlined in the Payment section below), your catering order shall be confirmed.
Payment Terms
The prices listed on our Website are estimates and may vary depending on the specifics of your event. A final quote will be provided outlining the total cost, including food, beverages, equipment, staff, and any applicable taxes. To confirm your order, a deposit of 20% of the total cost is required. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event date (unless otherwise specified in the quote).
MENU
Caterer reserves the right to make small changes to the menu only if ingredients are unable to be source due to reasons beyond the control of parties.
DAMAGE/LOSS:
Caterer will not be liable for any damage or loss, unless specifically caused by the willful negligent actions or conduct of caterer or its employees.
PRICES:
We reserve the right to amend prices should our cost price fluctuate beyond our reasonable control.
FLEXIBILITY:
Whilst we – at all times – strive to be flexible, all items changed after we have purchased their ingredients will be charged at full quoted price.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Should an ingredient, for any reason, be unavailable we reserve the right to replace it with a suitable substitute."
TIME
TIME: Customer will be billed for additional staff hours for any time extension beyond the prior agreed upon time.
PANTRY AREA:
Client must provide pantry area for washing (plates & glasses), If no pantry area is available, we can use disposable plates and cups for the event.
VALIDITY:
Quotes are valid for 3 days. Kindly contact The Business of Catering for an extension.
CANCELLATIONS:
The organizers of the function will be liable for the following in the event of the function being cancelled:
o Within 2 (two) days of the function date: the full quoted price.
o 7 (seven) to 3 (Three) days prior to the function: 60% of the quoted price.
o 14 (fourteen) to 8 (eight) days prior the function: 35% of the quoted price.
UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES:
The client will comply with all the laws of the Maldives, all municipal ordinances and all lawful orders of police and fire departments and will not do anything on the event/function premises in violation of any laws, ordinances, rules or orders. If unlawful activities should occur on the premises, and the event is cancelled, there will be no refund of any kind from caterer to client."
